This song/poem is about a girl I liked a lot at a particular job I worked at. It’s one of those regrets that writers have, could’ve shoud’ve would’ve, but didn’t and that’s exactly what it was. My ego got in the way of my heart and I wish I would have asked her out, but instead wrote this song. Sadly she quit her job at Cub Foods to be an interpreter for the deaf before I could give this composition to her. I utilized every part of her description and the job she was going into and here it is. She dyed her hair brown, but she was blonde and that’s why I called it Artic Blue. People don’t realize how beautiful the artic really is and nobody realized that she was a blonde except me and that was because she told me, but I already liked her before I knew that.
Arctic Blue
do you know the color of the arctic lands?
its a diamond with splashes of sun against your face
you can see the ice is blue
and the sky is coral white
the mountains are blue and how beautiful can the birds sing?
I walk through your world
in silence to hold you
I can’t hear anything but words
that are a whisper away
I see you near as constant
as the sun is today
with fingers that dare to begin
my hearts expression
I step through the window to show you
how beautiful the Arctic blues’ impression are with you
say hello
OH say hello to me
sign to me
I will sign to you
with a smile that will light the world
with energy so bright I will see you soon
say hello
OH say hello to me
sign to me
I will sign to you
when I see your smile its like the arctic land, timeless age of departure
upon the arctic white sands reveals the quality to begin the day
the heat from your eyes sees in harmony and melts the ice in my veins away
rivers join together as one
like a kiss to the other
and we will seek adventure
do you know the color of the arctic lands?
its a diamond with splashes of sun against your face
you can see the ice is blue
and the sky is coral white
the mountains are blue
and how beautiful
can the birds sing?
say hello
oh say hello to me
sign to me
I will sign to you
with a smile that will light the world
with energy so bright I will see you soon
say hello
oh say hello to me
sign to me
I will sign to you
the water splashes upon your shore
and its cold, but there
are no good-byes
it reminds me in a simple sigh of a dream from the churning
of the chorus
dream for me and I will dream for you in words that remain colorful
with hair so blonde
I would lie in the sun for hours
and look forward to witness your arctic
blue eyes eyes eyes eyes
I will sign to you
say hello
oh say hello to me
sign to me
I will sign to you
with a smile that will light the world
with energy so bright I will see you soon
say hello
oh say hello to me
sign to me
I will sign to you
oh say hello
ohh say hello to me
sign to me
I will sign to you
with a smile that will light the world
with energy so bright I will see you soon
say hello
oh say hello to me
sign to me
I will sign to you
and live in this world
we call the arctic blue
