This is a poem I wrote when I was 10years old at school. We had a poetry competition and I won, the prize was it got published in a childrens poetry book. This was the first poem I ever wrote and many more followed. Please leave comments telling me what you think. It would be appreciated.

Snow, snow everywhere nothing but whiteness all around us

The ice is sparkling, shining bright

It might give you a little fright

The lonely wilderness is silent

Apart from the wind you hear

The waves are lashing, raging and burning

The iceberg is breaking like the sound of thunder

The deadly beauty of the ice shelf

Is such a wonderful thing

The beautiful fire dancing in the sky is like a rainbow burning.

That is a wonderful poem. Especially for a ten year old writer. It contains beautiful imagery and I really enjoyed it. The title suits the poem completely :) I will be adding you and hope that you might desire to read a little of my writing. I sure would like to know what you think of my work. Thank you
