The new millennium

the modern Internet,

Are we subjects of a  unknown force?

Our valuable time,

being spend on line,

What happen to long, long, walk in the park,

moonlight picnic in the dark,

walking barefoot in the sand,

under the sun, as our ice-cream melt down our hands

as the cool breeze, make our nose sniffle and our throat tickle.

What have we done?

we have ambush by cyberspace,

just sitting all day in our favourite place,

your chair,

just clicking away, in cyberspace,

day after, day after day.

Where have all the fun, in the sun gone?

Are we being controlled  by an unknown?

well known as    “The World Wide Web.”

Is this our life forever, bright lights, on the monitor forever,

have we given, up our freedom to go to the stores,

or will we be forever, paid our bills on lines.

as interacted with strangers  and in addition, risking our life’s and our identify

with on line scammers.

Christopher Columbus,  I am so sorry to disappointed you.

“We the people discovered this new world, and not you.

this new world we called the “World Wide Web.

Oh! how the might Christopher Columbus is tossing in his grave,

Oh how the mighty explorer , would love to claimed this new discovery,

However, not even by a nanosecond, or by  a degree.

Are we really victims, of this Laboratory inventions,

restricting,  us from having fun, the profiteering, philippic Internet,

Let us watch our backs,

and in-addition, takes our lives back.
