Are we there yet in preparation,

For the ministry we must do?

God help us to get so full of Him,

That not us but His Spirit shines through!

Are we there yet in our permission?

Does He have complete control

Of the body He gave us to serve Him,

As He lives in our inner soul?

Are we there yet, in pruning, purging,

Our vine by the Saviour cleansed,

Of all that would stand in the way of

A holy communion with Him?

Are we there yet in singing His praises.

To God may we lift up our voice.

Who died on the Cross to redeem us,

And gives us great cause to rejoice!

Are we there yet in our provisions,

Every good thing comes down from his Hand!

Let us now make a conscious decision,

For God ever boldly to stand!
