A short essay about my country’s culture.

Enjoy reading. Love and Peace. God Bless All.

Nowadays, Filipinos are so widespread around the world that you don’t even need to ask how to share our culture with other races. It just happens.

The other races see inspiration in our hard work and the results of such, our practical and efficient minds, our zealous faith and nationalism, our camaraderie, and our smiles that never see end even through the face of adversaries. These traits attract curiosity and love from other races, and sometimes they integrate such traits to their daily lives.

Foreigners are evidently happy with using our native dialects, even whilst selling their products in the streets, talking to Filipinos with familiarity and a smile. This is just proof of how easy and enjoyable it is to adapt to our language, a part of the bigger Philippine culture of course. This also shows how easy to get along with the Filipino people really are, just another fragment of our culture.

What you call good manners and right conduct are often used by Westerners and some Asians in practice as a voluntary way to show good will to others, but it is a natural behavior for Filipinos, it’s what differentiates as from the other races. Filipinos are bound to a pure, natural and sincere good will. Not fake, no ulterior motives. This is a fact and as a Filipino, I’m proud to say it. If you are not a Filipino or have doubts in the statement, you can observe it for yourself if you so wish. This is an easy way to see the truth about the Filipinos, a truth contradicting false statements of a few hateful and jealous people.

Needless to say, wherever Filipinos go, they leave their marks, may it be in great achievements in work, good will, helping other people, or just simply leaving a smile off other people’s faces. Maybe someday you’ll hear what other races say about Filipinos and finally hear the infamous phrase “I’m a Filipino too!” which is sometimes translated into Tagalog to show more interest in the language

Some foreigners translate the phrase to “Filipino din ako!”, or so they say, usually in their land’s distinct accent.

These words are very amusing and inspiring to the ears of Filipinos, a proof that we have done a great job sharing our culture with other races.

I’m a Filipino; even notable foreigners have stated they are Filipinos with genuine interest. What about you? Are you a Filipino too?
