tight rope, walking
green eyes, stalking
train rides and hawk eyes
through aisles and aisles of your sighs
rich men, dining
his stars, aligning
cold gaze and warm praise
a someone, a something, ablaze
everything is taking a shape
everything is taking a form
everything is taking a right turn
explore, explore, explore, explore
lifetime, shortened
isolated, caution
though tears and just fears
and passageways of pioneers
catwalk, strutter
first take, stutter
dire plights and high kites
and emotionless delights
there’s something hiding around the corner
I think she wants to meet us
why don’t you go invite her over
she can say hello
and when finally she let’s out a murmur
that she wants to run away
their tight, little hands
will grip her
tight, little hands
and hold her
tight, little hands
ever so softly
like an angel’s touch
softly…
