Birth was the assignment for today.

Biological process
indicitive of moment in which
body and soul conjoin
into human being or other animal
as designated by genome.

    I’m sure some religious factions would find the idea of an animal having a ’soul’ contentious.

    I did like this poem. The conjoining of the material with the spiritual. I like the suggestion that ‘Arrival’ is mainly a physical/biological event, whilst the spirit or soul is a dormancy; its principality perhaps being ‘Leaving’ Life..

    A lot said with few words. Another nice write.
