A short fictional poem.
How can you not see the pain you’ve placed upon me?
All I can think of is that night you left me to put up a fight.
High as can be you sold me, the reason?
Well that, you never told me.
We were sisters from the start until the streets tore us apart.
That night I wish I would disregard, and then maybe it wouldn’t be so hard.
You said the acid was a rip, I’m positive I started to trip.
You took my hand and said you had a plan.
This plan I did not understand.
As high as can be you sold me!
I screamed for help but you left me!
You said you’d be there to protect me!
You said you wouldn’t let anyone hurt me!
And then as high as can be he raped me!
To this day this memory still haunts me.
I saw you today and started to cry.
The only question I have, is why?
