About love.
With windswept hair
As the tendril fell
I took one look
And I could tell
I needed to get your attention
I attempted small talk
I tried to mention
We should go for a walk
But you brushed me away
As another came near
I started to talk
But I didn’t out of fear
That you wouldn’t listen
Just as I turned to go
I could see your eyes glisten
You seemed to know
That I was going
So you grabbed my arm
And with the words just flowing
You poured on your charm
Pulling me to the dance floor
We waltzed and twirled
It’s the first time
I was picked up by a girl
