If we accept our achievements and failures in one vein and submit our problems to the Lord, life shall be worth living.

It has been our tendency

to gloat in our achievements

and feel proud as a doer

On the contrary, we blame

ill luck and failures on destiny

Striking a balanced detachment

between the two is the need of the hour

Life shall be worth living only if we drop the face of make believe

Surrendering our worries to the Lord, ask and ye shall receive.

this reminds me of a beautiful song with that Biblical phrase, “come to me all of you who are tired of caring heavy loads, for the yoke i will give you is easy, and my burden is light, come to me and i will give you rest”. whenever worries and distress and depression strikes, i come to think of the phrase.

then John 15:7 says: “If you abide in Me, And my WORDS abide in you, Ask whatever you wish, And it shall be done to you”
