A young person’s perception is that he is far smarter sometimes than he really is. But he’ll get wiser by the time he loses his hair.

I’ll ask ‘em while they’re young
And know it all
Before their I.Q. Takes
A mighty fall
Because their knowledge
Will seem tiny
When their heads
Get bald and shiny….
I’ll ask ‘em while they’re young
And know it all

I wish I knew this when my three kids were still at home because they were definitely the smartest kids they knew. Maybe it’s not too late to ask…they still have all their hair.

I enjoyed reading this one.
