Bad example for young astronomers, I should be ashamed of myself.

City dwellers don’t often see the stars

Well, at least no more than the brightest few

There’s just too much city light, too many cars

But there are a million more in a good dark view

So, guys, learn astronomy if you want some assignations

Not too much astronomy to be seen as strange

But enough to find and name some constellations

Ten or fifteen or so, something in that range

And will the girls think the stars romantic

Of course

And where will you find dark skies gigantic

Country parks will be your greatest source

And one sees stars best from what positions

On soft blankets , lying on your backs

And will the lady need to cuddle to avoid chilly conditions

On second thought, you’ll only need five constellations, max

    on second thought? haha.

i used to memorize constellations as a child. i remember orion’s belt has an orange or red star within it called beetlejuice.

and that there’s a cluster of stars all in one place that can only be seen when youre NOT looking at them.
