An opportunity is knocking,

A window is opening..

Should I go for it or not?

I am thinking.. so distraught,

The chance for a better life

In exchange for a child’s well being

Is it a life worth having?

A child’s good health,

versus a chance to great wealth

Is it really worth it?

Now, I’m at a crossroad

still thinking which way to go

I hope I can have both ways

In a life where not everything stays.
