A poem,
Talking to his deceased wife.
At least come in my dreams
The moments are heavy to bear
When you are not near
The night seems so long
When you are not along
I feel like suffocating
When I look around for you
And can’t see you smiling
Like I used to when you were here so caring
Why did you have to part?
Tearing my body and soul apart
Why did I not go along?
Left to bear the solitude alone
Can you see me from up above?
I wonder if that is true that you are gone
When will my turn come to see you there?
Is that world better that what we have here?
Sometimes I hear your voice in the kitchen
At times I feel your hair brush my face
When I realize that it’s only a dream
I find my eyes dropping tears along my cheeks
Please come to answer at least in my dreams
Because that is only where I wait for you to feel you
To cry my woes to make you sad
And you may know how I am feeling bad
