Having a bad day even though nothing is really wrong? This poem suggests that sometimes a simple attitude adjustment can turn your world around.

Have you ever woke up with a bad attitude for no reason, with nothing going right, everything going wrong and your world spinning backwards? The old folks had a saying that for a day like this – saying that you woke up on the wrong side of the bed. This poem suggests that sometimes a simple attitude adjustment can turn your world around.
When I woke up this morning
The world was not spinning my way
The clouds were hanging down low
Turning my blue skies dark gray
The birds outside my window
Were singing a sad, sad song
Nothing seemed to be just right
But all seemed to be going wrong
So I stopped and asked myself
What could be causing such a mood
Then I saw the whole problem
Was caused by my own attitude
I took a deep breath, closed my eyes
And decided to start again
Right away things looked better
The world seemed to reverse its spin
I believe we have power
To often have a good day
With an attitude adjustment
Before we go forth on our way
