To that special Aunt in our life…

There was a girl named Maybelline

With the bluest eyes you’ve ever seen.

A pink wildflower gently combs her long brown hair

Milky skin, smooth and fair.

Years have passed, road maps in her eyes

A story told with no lies

Life’s trends in her adventures

With despair, and heavenly treasures.

There was a girl named Maybelline

With the purest heart you’ve ever seen-

A grand lady at 84

Pink wildflower in her hair, like the years before.
