This is a descriptive poem about fall…

the elusive autumn confetti carried
by the winds invisible hands
and sprinked as scarlet rain
over the sterile bossom of rail tracks
lying in somnolent indifference
on a deserted trail, abandoned
like rose petals showered by
tear-stained palms over
the faces of tombstones
variegated sentinels of nature’s pastures
covered in leaves camouflaged as flowers
shower pastel shaded confetti
in homage over the breast of generous earth
repaying the loan of fertile nurturing ambrosia
rail tracks lying within woods of seclusion
lonely and forlorn, forgotten by civilisation
lying in togetherness, but destined
never to embrace on life’s trail
and to endure a mutually lonely existence
undiluted by exchange of words
from mute lips of silence
and the raining confetti of fall
heralds an aura of jubiliation
with velvet leaves caressing cast- iron cheeks
only touched by fingers of gritty dust
elusive and meagre dewdrops
and occasional showers of rain…

Nice one. You should make a happy poem about spring and pair it with this one, to get both sides of the spectrum.
