The arrival of fall and it’s features.
The first day of fall is creeping to the door,
Cool brisk of night comes seeping on the floor,
The sun hides it face behind a darkened cloud,
Leaves glisten on the ground a colorful shroud,
Children return to the hybernating school,
Covers get put back on the waving swimming pool,
The pumpkins they all grow out of farmers crops,
To decorate the night of costumes and lollipops,
The full moon glows it’s mighty light and lays upon the street,
While door to door the goblins and ghost scamper their feet,
And within the kitchen, meal fit for a king,
A turkey, bread and stuffing and about just everything,
Our lives become a bit busy,
And others they might say,
Sugar can make you dizzy,
But it’s all part of Autumn’s array.
