A muslim teacher expressing her feelings in to a poem at an end of the year function.

To the parents,

I’ve watched these angels learn and grow

And blossom from day to day

I hope all the things I have done

Has helped in some small way

I have protected the trust you have entrusted in me, and Allah is my witness

I still ask for forgiveness from you today, and hope we hold no bitterness.

To my students,

I’m honoured to be your Mu-alimah

Proud that you all have worked sincerely

Saddened to see your’ll leave and go

But, remember I love you all dearly.

It’s time to say Fi-Amaanilah

Our year has come to an end

But, happy to have made many cherished memories

And so many more friends!
