This is a poem about a dream that I had.

Awoken, sweat dripping like leaky faucets
Confused in early morning midnight,
Glanced left then right
Only darkness In sight, standing,
Now running Barefoot in open field
As Heart rate pumps faster
Fate seals like jars of life in factories,
Tainted are hands that hold oceans
Of bodies of sailors and blood of a nation,
A free spirit hero, now jogging naked
Suddenly leaps to a new understanding
Bringing feet to a halt heels together at
A forty five degree angle,
Between man and flag all that stands is
A gloom shadowed by colors of glory,
And Light radiating through the clouds
In the sky, Shoulders farther back
Eyes in the boat, Tight stance;
Basking in the moment of knowing,
Realizing Honor at its best
Fearing nothing and no one and loving
Everything and everyone,
A devoted sense somewhat of a marriage
Protects the mind body and soul,
For this morning when truly awoken
The day knows no boundary
To how many lives will be saved.

Not bad,as good as most I’ve seen here, better than some.

I like how you give good imagery, like the 45 degree angle and how you said was running naked. I also like the fact you show the horrors of the military but in a way that it comes off prideful(like it is). “The day knows no boundary” my favorite line.^^
