This is a poem about a young baby’s idea of it’s first Christmas. Before the baby can really see what is coming on and understands things.

Many relatives are soon to arrive,
They’ll be some between nine and five,
And Grandparents get here,
We all should certainly cheer.
From the kitchen comes various smells,
It even travels up the stairwells,
Mom will make her special dish,
All will talk sound like gibberish.
Put in an outfit of red and white,
Wish I had better eyesight,
Most of the presents will be clothes,
Watch as I show you I can wiggle my toes.
This has been a very special first,
Of course nothing could be rehearsed,
Later being put down to sleep by Mom,
She will then listen over the intercom.
