My children have returned back to school.

Back to school for students,

All day spent in the classroom.

Concentrating on their lessons,

Knowledge they are acquiring.

To school the children return,

Over is their Summer Break.

School has started once again,

Children boarding yellow buses.

Hallways filled with students,

Old friends are back together.

Over is their time of freedom,

Long school year is now ahead.

Oh no. I like the poem. But not what it is about. But still, I’ll say, Good job Darla because I do like this acrostic style. Don’t like what it is about though. I don’t want to go back to school

My kid is looking forward to going back, in the country its the one time you get to see friends who live miles and miles apart!

Very clever. Back to school is bitter sweet. Vacation is over but kids are reunited with their school friends.
