He’s big he’s bad

Don’t make the Bo Jack mad

He’s lean

He’s mean

Relentless like a machine

Bo’s one bad dude

With a bad attitude

If you mess with him

You better find a place to hide

He’s only six feet tall

But about four feet wide

No doubt when Bo’s about

You’ll feel the fury

You’ll scream and shout

Never make him mad

You will end up hurt and sad

Trust me when I say

Don’t mess with Bo today

He packs a mean left

Of this leave no doubt

Just ask my friend Sam Finch

He’ll tell you what it’s about

I know no fear

But you will

If you upset me

You will learn

About lack of sanity

And ultimate tyranny

So stay in your place

Or I’ll rearrange your face

Trust me I learned

From the dancing master himself

Muhammad Ali

Never mess with me or mine

You’ll be on your behind

You better get away

From Bo Jacks super train

I protect my famiglia

You can not understand

Unless you are a big

Irish Italian man

Reminds me of the song “Headknocker” by Foreigner, from their first LP. I could imagine them singing this poem as lyrics, somehow.

    Love the title, as well.

Hey, Bo Jack, that\’s a very witty poem. You don\’t look like a man to be messed with, that\’s for sure. And you don\’t look old enough to have those cute grandkids! You must take care of yourself, to stay that young-looking.

  • Debra Mann on May 15, 2009

Great imagination Bo. By the way, Mahammad Ali lives on a big farm in Berrien Springs, Michigan, which is not too far from me. I sometimes see him in a Mall being helped to walk by relatives and friends. He has lost a lot of weight and is very frail.

  • Bo Russo on May 16, 2009

Wess I didn’t know that,I thought he lived in Kentucky.

  • Westbrook on May 17, 2009

He may have property in Kentucky, and he may visit there from time to time; he has properties elsewhere, but it is well known that his home is here. The Orchard Mall in Benton Harbor is where we see him ocasionally. It is about 20 miles fron Berrien Springs.

I have admired Ali for his skill in boxing during his hayday, but I have never respected a draft dodger when young men were fighting and dying for their country in Veitnam and who switched to being a radical Islamic and flaunted it in the face of the country who gave him that freedom. His big mouth only inflamed many patriotic Americans.

  • Bo Russo on May 17, 2009

You know I never even thought about that part when talking to you about it.Remember I was only a kid then, born Nov.’64.
