All in a day’s work.

Buy the groceries
Cook the food
Always in a charming mood
Walk the dog
and check the mail
Paint each toe and fingernail
Do the laundry
Don’t stop shining
Go to work then do some ironing
Sleep some time
Then watch a movie
Pour a drink
Yes life is groovy
Feed the kids
and off to bed
Call a friend
What’s in their head?
Keep your smile
No time for sorrow
Check the game plan for tomorrow.

No kids for me, just animals. I never have a set routine, it keeps life more interesting, at least I think. However, I give anyone props that can get anything accomplished with kids.

In writing like that it makes it sound so easy, but we all know, especially those who are living that life, it can be very hectic. I love your spin on it though and hope I can start looking at my life a little bit more upbeat like your poem. Routines, haven\’t got one except GO, GO, GO!!!!

Jillie, you make an all-too-overlooked, perfect point! (That’s why I had you, to catch all those things I overlook :) I love you, mom.)

Sounds exhausting just reading it. Time, time, time…where does it go? Good job!
