Understanding within yourself how much you can tolerate before you need space to collect your thoughts.

Inner limits
Since the initial speed limit sign posted
Or the origin of the word “no!” in our lives
Constantly tested
Like a rope too thin for rodeo
Maybe a stressed light bulb on its last flash of illumination
When humiliation becomes redundant
Egotism a trifle exhausting
Imagination redundant
Those loved grown into a burden
Our own disposition presently uncouth
Inner limits preserve our best likeness
