Locked in war torn hell, victims of atrocities…

In the cities as they fell
War torn Innocents
Of the guilty’s design
Never once having
Considered their crimes
Against the readers of story books rhymes Huddled in tiny masses
Quivering in hidden crevasses
Hiding from bullet and bomb
Help us dry their tears

I feel so much sorrow for all those in war torn countries. If I had my way we would send the leader of each country to fight it out if they wanted a war. Of course that would be the end of war.

    William,

There is power in your words. You are creative in bringing insight to those who may know no different than war. I enjoyed this read. Well done.
