Poem about myself as a child. But, a poem that can be made to fit with any little girl. Please enjoy and let me know what you think.

There goes that barefoot little girl, running wild,

Isn’t she the most amazing child?

I’ve never seen her wear a pair of shoes,
Her knees are skinned and her elbows are bruised.

She’s rough, she’s tough, she’s ready to go,

She’s always the star of the show.

She isn’t afraid of anything,

She loves to stand in the rain and sing.

She’ll run around here all day long,

Only Mama’s call can stop her song.

She’s a pretty girl but she don’t care,

She has no time to brush her hair.

Everyone around here knows her name,

And we know everyday she’ll be the same.

There goes that barefoot little girl, running wild,

Isn’t she the most amazing child?
