A cleansing.

I’m going down to the basement
To clear my head for a while,
I’m going down to the basement
To clear my head for a while,
Down there I can pray, beg, feel a smile.
Over in one corner of the basement
There is a place to cleanse myself,
Over in one corner of the basement
There is a place to cleanse myself,
Take my troubles and worries
And put them up on a shelf.
No reason to be sad,
No reason to regret,
No reason to be concerned,
No reason to be upset.
I’m going down to the basement
To wash away all of my blues,
I’m going down to the basement
To wash away all of my blues,
Don’t have to listen to any bad news.
I’ll sit inside a circle made there long ago,
I’ll sit inside a circle made there long ago,
Meditate on feeling all I reviewed
Come out with a soul that is renewed.

You fully described your “get away” place and how it is beneficial to you. Well done.

Its important to take care of yourself first, you cannot help anyone if you energy “inner chi” – needs to be restored.

    Blessings.

    Sincerely,

This is powerful Will. Sometimes the darkness and silence of the underground can cleanse out minds and our souls.
