An ode to my friend.

Brought to a lowly town of convenience stores and dams
From a family full paradise by the bay
Where stood the one he so admired
A blonde covered in a shiny new bass.
Here he strums, cuddle addicted and alone
With only his initials the same as his 007 hero
His significant other, in the form of a Bulova.
Ticking as his singlehood passes slowly by.
Working on the school radio by day
Never together, his heart forever torn apart
He sits alone in his bedroom
Strumming to the bass of his heart.
