A poem.

Image via Wikipedia

Nothing is going right today,

And cops are found all over the place.

Gunshots heard from up above,

Streets once black are paved with blood.

Bloody days with painful nights,

Light seems to forever fade to fright.

No place to eat, work, or sleep,

Sanity is getting harder to keep.

A child’s face proves cold and hunger,

In these streets we survive no longer.

When I read this I think of suburban ghettos, street hoodlums and gangs – a battlefield in suburbia. Wicked poem a/c:)
