Battling with My Leg

A neighbour of mine is fed up with her sore leg and the useless nurses.

I am a pensioner in my eighties
My neighbour often calls round
I haven’t had any visitors lately
My leg hurts and it gets me down.

All my friends that I know
Have leg problems too
It doesn’t make me feel any better though
As I can’t get my legs to go.

The nurses are no good
They rush around from one place to another
They don’t do what they should
My leg to them is just a leg so they don’t bother.
