Oh, string those simple beads of love

                on common threads of truth –

Beads which, in the main,

                  look not luxurious and ornate,

But positively plain.

Do let those simple beads of love

                    strung tightly as can be

To form a single unit

                      for everyone to see.

So, let us keep on stringing

                       those simple beads of love

With pleasure and with care,

                        and pass them generously around

For everyone to wear.
