Poetry for the soul.

Beauty that is scared by pain

Ever passing anguish left it’s trace

The sadness etched across your face

A memory of death’s last embrace

All the tears  your closed eyelids hold

All the longings your words have told

Gathered in lips that make no cry

The still silence of your lifted face

a memory of death’s last embrace.
