I look into your eyes,
and see the beautiful sea.
A very lovely view.
The blue in your eyes sparkle,
like the rolling of ocean waves.
your daughter is definately acquiring her mother’s talent with words
Beautiful imagery as ever highlighting pure passion – the “rolling of the ocean waves” shows the clear passion you’ve hidden behind this poem. Good job!
So simple and yet still transporting the reader away. Good work.
Oh, sorry, I didn’t notice the bit where your 14 year old daughter wrote this…this is a really brilliant job and be sure to tell her because I just love supporting young teen writers like myself and what she’s written is a serious indicator of talent! theresacall is so right!
A very talented girl. This is very expressive, clear and flowing. Very well written. Michael
right. she’s as talented as her mother, she must be in triond too. (*smiles*)
This is VERY good!!!!!!
Take Care, DreamSweet and Let Your Heart Shine
A whole nest of writers coming out of the Carolinas. Quite a nice write at any age.
A poetess from a poetess.Very nice
Very poetic words for a 14 year old!Tell her very well done and keep up the writing!
I really enjoyed it! Your daughter is on her way to being a really great poet. If I didn’t know the poem was written by someone who is 14, I would have assumed that an adult wrote it. She’s a really good poet.
A few lines of a similar poem of mine on Helium and AC:
“Oh, how can your eyes be so blue
That I think I can swim in them.
In some eyes one gets himself lost
But in yours I can find the real me.”
Wonderful piece, Darla, thanks.
wow looks like moms talent is passed on, she is wise beyond her years keep her immagination flowing
Very nice! I liked it!:)
