Your many vouchsafes guard and keep me,

My own watchful bodyguards,

A comforter teaches and guides,

A mother cloaked in blessedness,

And, interceding on my behalf,

An Advocate and an Intermediary,

Promises in written guaranty,

The granting of my deepest, pure desires,

Protection from hurt harm and danger,

Wisdom, knowledge, intelligence to suffice,

Faults unreckoned, faults forever forgotten,

Love and dwelling in heavenly places…

And the transubstantiation of death,

I’m given these, safeguards and promises

Because it pleases Him to give to me, of Himself,

The desire of my heart which pleases Him, Him,

Him, I belong to as stars to the heavens, above

From whence my spirit came, it returns in its desire,

To Him, His way, to Him, a Burden of Light,

…because You desire my love.
