Past midnight now
And I’m up still
Should go to bed
As soon I will.

I’m out for some air
It’s very cool tonight
The sky is dark
Yet filled with star light.

It’s very still
Very quiet too
As I sit here silently
With thoughts of things to do.

Should sleep well I’d guess
As the night air’s just right
I’ll brush my teeth and say my prayers
Then dream of morning’s light.

To bring in a wonderful day
Filled with dreams come true
As while I peacefully sleep
I normally dream of at least a few.
