Befriending Loneliness

"l’m with you now and I’ll never leave you, until you say."

Loneliness is not such a bad emotion;

regard it as a friend, be it a he or a she,

who is always nearby and is felt only by you.

Whenever you are feeling down and low,

you can hear loneliness whispering in your ear,

“l’m with you now and I’ll never leave you, until you say.”

Comforting words to make one befriend loneliness,

in times of solace, when you need someone close to you;

you can always depend on loneliness to appear…

I live on 10 acres in the middle of nowhere I hate the friend named loneliness, I get sad when my wife is at work and I am home alone, although the animals are good company its not the same.

This is really good, rajeev. You gave people a wonderful way to look at loneliness. I don’t really like to be alone, but I see that it’s not such a bad thing thanks to you.

I quite like loneliness myself… and like the idea of living in the middle of nowhere surrounded by nobody and nature. I think better by myself. Thanks.
