Befriending the Orca

A poem with a message to save the whale.

Beautiful black and white giants of the sea,

highly intelligent, unrivalled and free.

They glide gracefully through cold water in packs,

presiding over all other species they tower.

Displaying spectacular feats of their awesome power,

Emotional, loving and caring mammals,

they express their deep love, like no other.

Naturally evolved with strong communication skills,

Orca’s are always fun to observe, and so full of thrills.

So let’s make an effort to understand these noble life-forms

by reaching out and befriending them all, with wide-open arms.
