I had a tragic loss of faith and hope with traumas I’ve experienced and felt like there was nothing left to believe in. Then an epiphany hit – no matter what happens, I have love and safety, an acute sense of aesthetic appreciation and endless curiosity – all will wrap their warm, loving arms around me and keep me going.
I don’t believe in much anymore
but believe in love, fur and fire
soft nuzzles, warm respect
silky drapes
and my own turquoise cocoon
safe
not alone.
finally realizing, in dancing flames
sublime beauty, only created by the divine
knowing there is actually more
keep the faith…
