They said that we’d have sun today
Although it does not appear to be true
For the sky holds nothing but large white clouds
With no signs of any colors of blue.

I suppose it’s still early though
So things could change any time
But whether it rains or it doesn’t
All will be just fine.

There’s still a steady breeze
Like we’ve had now for many days
And the air feels really cool
Lacking the sun’s glorious rays.

Now it’s afternoon
The sun has managed to peek out some
But still the sky holds mostly clouds
With still much time for more sun to come.

And when it does peek out
The warmth it holds is oh so grand
Reminding me of older days
On a beach just sitting in the sand.

Pretty soon I’m sure
Summer will just appear
The rainy days of Spring will leave
And I believe that time is near.
