When someone has taken you for granted, it’s hard to revive one’s trust and commitment.

Beneath the waves

You pulled me down

My breath withheld

A thousand times.

Beneath the waves

You kissed goodbye

My heart dreamed on

But never I tried.

Beneath the waves

I was trapped alone

And beyond those dark tides

Memories pierced my bones.

Beneath the waves

You came back again

Love was proposed

Behind those silly whirls.

Beneath the waves

My love still rested in hue

But I’d rather stay, whichever way

Than regret whatever comes in deep blue gray.

Beneath the waves

Despite the effort you made

I’d rather keep my love away

Than comes the day it’d be myself to blame.
