In the last couple of months I have increasingly become more aware of subjective comparisons made by myself and others. I am trying to stop them in my thought patterns and am tired of hearing them so often in daily conversations.
Better than,
greater than,
prettier than,
holier than,
wiser than,
smarter than,
nicer than,
cooler than,
hotter than,
brighter than,
sweeter than,
funkier than,
compare and compare,
all these subjective comparisons,
all opinions and devoid of truth,
let us be objective,
we can’t,
always subjective,
stop the pretense,
stop the intense idiocy,
lunacy,
stop spoon feeding yourself
these toxic treats,

stop these subjective comparisons.
Why not just say,
that is great,
that is pretty,
that is wise,
that is smart,
that is nice,
that is cool,
that is hot,
that is bright,
that is sweet,
that is funky,
and let that whole better than and holier than thou crowd just fade away.
