Resides the peaceful mind.

Wandering into an unknown land
The pasture settles in a bit
Quietly, nestled in
Gentle hands

Watching from a distant place
The calm of night caresses
The restless soul
In a comforting embrace

Even fine lines skip across
The peaceful mind
Playfully, dashing between
The sands of time

While weathered, forlorn days
Pass through cloudy nights
Greeted eagerly by the wizened arms
Of yesterday
