This was written for a couple I knew who were getting divorced, but changed their minds. That was six years ago, and they’re still together and even had a baby after their reconciliation.
Through ravages of pain,
Inside a loving rage,
The forces that once bound us
Unravels just the same.
Though we are lost,
We are not far away,
Dancing through the mist,
Forever our hearts remain.
We’ll never let go of the hope.
In all the rain and snow,
Our warmth eats the cold.
Our story will forever be told.
Take the part
And lay it down.
In this mystical room,
I hear not a sound.
The very place where love began,
Continues now
Just the same,
As we find our way
Through the maze.
So we keep holding on,
Though the road is long.
When other have gone,
We remain here, standing strong.
A pact between two lovers,
A bond unbroken.
In this there can be no others
No indifference spoken.
