A poem of hope.
Beyond Dreams
Image by David Paul Ohmer via Flickr
Sleeping, the Lady enters my dreams,
She is there to unblock all the streams,
Whispering evil wants to come in,
Lady protects me from all the sin.
Off I go to many colorful designs,
I have no need of directional signs,
Off in the distance, a gypsy howls at me,
Wanting my soul, but they cannot see.
Moonlight wavers, lingers and strays,
Lady guides my heart further away,
Schemes of a million thoughts I desire,
She keeps my ego from jumping in the fire.
I do believe she is my spirit guide,
I no longer need a safe place to hide,
Stars flashing wide, like bright beams,
I know I’ve entered the place beyond dreams.
Fools carry weapons made of madness,
I almost cry for they know not sadness,
Years of a thousand lives fill my head,
As I lie here softly in my bed.
Lady professes all of life’s love,
She is an angel sent from above,
I see the future and it is so bright,
Now it is morning, I see the light.
