Some men cry, some others lay tears…

High, very high I fly
far beyond the clouds
into the bright blue sky
above the highest grounds

my mind is always here
but my heart is down there
along with you my dear
I hope you are fine and well

I am now entering orbit
you are dressed in white and blue
you are so beautiful it hurts
that I’ll stay away from you

with teardrops in my eyes
I leave you far behind
heading for the red planet
where rust is all I’ll find

for eight years we’ll be afar
I don’t know if I hold out
it tears my heart apart
it makes me wanna SHOUT!

Isn’t the red planet Mars? Bit of anger at the end. A great post, thanks Sharpedon. Cmon, do one heading for Venus.
