My son’s view of the moon.

What’s that I see in the night sky?

It’s a big, bouncy ball and I want to know why.

I don’t see it all the time.

But when I do see it, I call it mine.

It saddens me when it’s not there.

But when it comes out to play, a smile, my face does bare.

This big, bouncy ball I realize it isn’t mine.

It’s the beautiful moon, isn’t God’s creation so fine?
