God made the oceans encompassing land.

Water and earth alike came by his hand.

The blues and the greens and such beautiful stuff.

Praise God of oceans he made quite enough!

The first time I saw it, I saw it and cried.

Thanked God He sent Jesus who sat down and died.

For a world of lost men, e’en the roughest of rough.

And for all the vast oceans, for there was enough.

Enough He could separate Him from my sin.

Could take to the ocean, and place them therein.

Could forget I’d committed the vilest of stuff,

God’s sea of forgetfulness, ocean enough!
