Story that illustrates the need for mutual help.

Cover of Ants (Denver Museum Insect Books)

One day there was an ant
He drowned in the river
He shouted shouted for help

Birds hear the cries of ants
Then the bird to help the ants
Birds help with leaf

Ants like to thank
Ant promised to return the favor

One day in the woods there are hunters
He wanted to shoot the bird
Ant to know that his friend was in danger
Then the ants came to help birds
Ants bite feet hunter hunter so surprised

Birds like to thank the ants
If there are no ants probably shot dead bird hunters
Finally, birds and ants away

Likewise, we as humans
If we like to help others, we must also be helped in our time of need
