Celebrating life.

When does life begin?

At the crack of dawn,

as a new born wails

in the arms of his mum?

*

In his early teens?

When discoveries unfold,

first heart-aches seen?

Trials of a man-child.

*

Or, in his forties?

Serious commitments,

responsibilities,

as the body deteriorates?

*

Life starts with a promise.

First rays of the sun,

then suddenly demise

into big drops of rain.

*

Life can be bitter.

Yet, if we can see through…

Accept life better.

Only then, we can breathe.

Thought- provoking poem . Where actually life begins, on the onset of joy or the pinnacle of sorrow?
